FAQ

1) When and where do I bring my bike for KRC service?
Bikes can be dropped off at IT&B anytime before the deadline noted in the specific race timeline. Please review the timeline carefully or email KRC at info@kamaainaracing.com

2) Does KRC offer a cancellation policy?
There are two refund options available in the event you need to cancel your reservation. First, you can request a refund of your shipping fee, less a $45 processing fee. Second, you can choose to transfer your reservation to a future event at no additional cost. You can transfer your reservation any future event that we serve, no expiration or time limits.

3) What is covered by the KRC insurance?
Full coverage for the value or your bicycle as listed on the waiver is included with the price of service. When dropping off your bicycle, a KRC employee will quickly record the bicycle make/model as well as any additional race equipment for insurance purposes. Any issues should be brought to KRC management as soon as possible so that it can be resolved in a timely manner. Please note that KRC retains the right to repair or replace the damaged part at their discretion.

4) How are the bikes loaded? Do I need to remove anything from my bike or pack it in a case?
We ask that you kindly remove your pedals and seatpost mounted water bottles/hydration systems. Our friendly and courteous staff can help you at the time of drop off at no extra charge. Please remember, these items can be taken with you or they can be transported with the gear bag option. Your fully-assembled bike will then be covered with a heavy moving blanket, loaded and secured into a covered container for transport to the race venue.

5) When will my bike be ready for pick-up after the race?
Generally, bikes can be picked up from IT&B the following Wednesday after the race. Home delivery will be scheduled on a one-on-one basis. For neighbor islands, bikes will be available within the following week after the race.
